What is Gratuity ?

Gratuity is a part of the salary that is received by an employee from the employer in gratitude for the services offered by the employee to the company.

Overview :-

An employee becomes eligible for gratuity only after completion of 5 or more years of full-time service with the same employer. In case your organization contributes towards gratuity for employees, you should first configure it on the Gratuity setting in Zenscale and then add it to employees’ salary master. Zenscale provides a transparent report of gratuity eligible employees based on policy.

Use Case :-

Suppose a company name with Abhishek Industries Private Limited. In this company 1000+ employees working.Due to the number of employees HR facing issues while calculating the Gratuity of employees. HR needs to work manual for the same. In this case, HR can use the gratuity setting in Zenscale. With the help of this setting, HR gets a report of gratuity eligible employees based on the setting.

Steps to be performed :- Following below steps to activate Gratuity setting :-

1. Statutory > Unsubscribe Apps.

2. Unsubscribe Apps > Gratuity

3. Gratuity > Subscribe

4. Refresh the page.

5. Statutory > Gratuity

6. Activate the gratuity setting and click on Go to Master

7. Input Gratuity Entitled Years

8. Input Gratuity To Be Paid For

9. Input Base Days for Salary Calculation

10. Choose year type ( Finical or Calendar)

11. Click on Save & Continue

12. User can view the employees detail in Gratuity verification report
