What is Balance Sheet?

A balance sheet is a financial statement that reports a company's assets, liabilities and shareholders' equity at a specific point in time, and provides a basis for computing rates of return and evaluating its capital structure.


Balance is the face of the company’s financial health. This reports speaks true values of company. And it should be audited from authorized CA to make it usable in banks and other useful places.

Use Case

Suppose there is a firm “XYZ Ltd”. They need balance sheet to get audited. Because they need to submit this report to bank for their overdraft limit.

With this option, user can print this report to produce before banks and department.

Steps to be performed for Balance Sheet

1.Go to Financial Report

1.1.Click on Balance Sheet

2.See the balance sheet in below image.

2.1.Click on expand all to see detailed balance sheet.

Detailed balance sheet and to go back to previous mode click on “Collapse All”.

2.2.If user want to see details group by group then click on + sign to expand a group and to – close group.

2.3.User can print & download the report.

3.User can see old version of balance sheet by selecting “Balance Sheet (Old Format)”.

3.1.User can rotate ledger groups as per need. Click on icon marked in below screen shot.

3.2.User can move here ledger groups.

3.3.User can see vertical view by click on marked icon in below screen shot.
